Horrible police report accusations against client. Officer wrote that client was the worst encountered in his career. Defense investigated case for over a year, identified numerous case weaknesses and inaccuracies with witnesses, police reports, body camera footage. Client was made multiple plea offers to settle by the prosecution, all rejected. Firmly established case was going to trial. Right before trial, prosecution admits it cannot get its witnesses and dismisses case. Very happy client after a long ordeal. Client risk = up to 6 months jail, 5 years probation, $2,500 fine plus surcharge, mandatory license revocation, mandatory counseling, mandatory ignition interlock device.
