Client previously entered a DUI plea requiring jail. Client was previously turned away due to medical conditions which could have resulted in serious injury / death if exposed to COVID-19. Wrote motion to convert mandatory jail into home detention to avoid cruel and unusual punishment under the Eight Amendment. Motion granted. A life saved. Very proud of this one.
