Client with no history of drunk driving or criminal history charged with multiple counts of DUI with BAC of .13. Thorough investigation revealed inaccuracies and dishonesty in police DUI investigation / police report when compared to body camera footage of the incident. Client addressed issues early. First attempt at lesser charge was denied by prosecution. Defense continued to press the case, utilizing extensive mitigation information, and prosecution agreed to offer lesser charge with no up front jail, no ignition interlock requirement, significantly lower fine. A great outcome for a client who understood the gravity of the situation.
