Client rear-ended in work vehicle, police officer cited for failure to control speed. Small-town police misinterpreted the law and tried to argue “that is the way we do it here.” Conducted vehicular safety research, site investigation, video examination, legal analysis. Interrogated the police officer in front of town prosecutor and argued that Arizona law applies the same everywhere and no town exception existed. Citation dismissed.
